Can you briefly explain us about your Company & your Products?

The company is partnership owned and that came into being in 2014.Since we stepped into this challenging industry, we have dedicated our entire efforts towards manufacturing a comprehensive range of Battery E Rickshaw.The objective of our company is to provide the best quality Electric Vehicles to the customer, so that the customers have to face less hassle in e-rickshaw.Also, with the incorporation of modern production technology, skilled, talented, and professional worker our company has been successful in staying in tune with the rising industrial challenges.

We manufacture all kind of E-Rickshaw and E-cart and entitle for fame subsidy.

Does your product require imported material or everything is manufactured from “Make in India”

We don’t import any material but some supplier use imported essential parts.

Since 2014, what has been your experiences in the 3 wheelers EV segment?

When E-Rickshaw was introduced in India, the segment is not very popularand attractive throughout in India. But after some period, people getting aware of it as a mode of transportation. Overall it is very wonderful journey with support of Government the segment getting more popular.

What impact on your business has come due to post Pandemic & what present situationlooks like for YC ELECTRIC ?

The situation is very worst and of course because the sells goes down the buyer don’t have sufficient fund to buy the vehicle. But then it would improve with time to time.

Are there any lessons from Covid you would like to incorporate ?

We need early warning system for future crises whether from climate change or pandemic because E-Rickshaw segment not that big like other segment. The people who drive            E-Rickshaw are not much strong financially.

What are the major challenges &how does the future look like when it comes to the

E-Rickshaw business?

The major Challenges we are facing in this segment are manufacturer copy model and sell in low price in the market. They use very cheap materials which create the problem in the market.

The Yatri DLX model our best selling product in the market. The model is very premium look.

What do you expect from Govt or Association support in order to scale up the E-Rickshaw business ?

First help to get GST return in time as well as fall into inverted duty and give more support in this segment.
