Ather Energy (Ather Energy) has achieved a new record. The company has established its Hosur facility (Hosur facility) to the 25,000th 450X Electric Scooter (450X Electric Scooter) is introduced. The vehicle maker has announced this by sharing pictures of the white Ather 450X coming off the assembly line on its social media handle. The production for the Ather 450X started on January 28, 2020 and this impressive figure has taken the company a little over two years. It should be noted that in the last two years the corona pandemic (Corona Pandemic) while there were delays in delivering the vehicles to the makers, while Ather started delivering the 450X much later in 2020.
Ather Energy ramped up production with the Hosur plant that started operations last year, marking a major capacity upgrade for EV start-ups. This further fueled the company’s expansion and sales planning with new state and central subsidies and EV policies.
The Ather 450X scooter comes with a large 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which powers the electric motor to produce 6 kW (up from 5.4 kW), 8 bhp of maximum power and 26 Nm of peak torque. This is a full 6 Nm more than the old 450 scooter.
The Ather 450X comes with four modes – Eco, Ride, Sport and Warp. The wrap mode is new and gives you access to the full 26 Nm. The Ather scooter accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, while it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6.5 seconds. The Ather makes a claim of 85 kms on a single charge but this range is available only on Eco mode. The scooter will have a range of 75 km in ride mode and 50 km in wrap mode.
